Why It Matters
Printing method affects the final product experience. It can influence hand feel, breathability, artwork appearance, and how the customer understands the product.
Common Misconceptions
- One print method is not always right for every order.
- Ultra DTF should not be presented as universally better.
- Product eligibility must be checked before recommending a method.
- Front print support does not mean back print or sleeve print support.
How It Relates to Blank Apparel
Blank apparel should be selected before finalizing print method. A top product that supports front print can be planned for POD customization. Pants and shorts should not be included in current print method recommendations.
Product Recommendations
- Use DTG when breathability and soft hand feel are the main priority.
- Use DTF when a standard transfer workflow is appropriate.
- Use Ultra DTF when a customer wants a supplier-positioned option above standard DTF and the product is eligible.
- Use only eligible top products for current front-print customization.
