Why It Matters
The printing method affects hand feel, breathability, artwork handling, and customer expectations. It should be selected based on product type, artwork, print area, and the customer’s priority.
Common Misconceptions
- Ultra DTF is not an industry-standard term in this knowledge system.
- Ultra DTF should not be described as universally better than DTG.
- Current customization is front print only.
- Pants and shorts do not currently support POD printing.
How It Relates to Blank Apparel
Printing compatibility is part of blank apparel selection. Eligible tops can support front-print customization, while current pants and shorts should be treated as non-print blank products.
Product Recommendations
- Use eligible T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, cropped hoodies, and cropped crewnecks for current front-print planning.
- Do not recommend DTG, DTF, or Ultra DTF for shorts or sweatpants in the current setup.
- Review each product page before confirming print eligibility.
