Why It Matters
Low-resolution files, rough edges, unwanted backgrounds, and very small details can create production issues. File preparation should be checked before a product is sent into production.
Common Misconceptions
- A large file is not always print-ready.
- A JPEG may not be suitable when transparency is required.
- Previewing artwork does not replace production review.
- File preparation should not assume back print or sleeve print support.
How It Relates to Blank Apparel
Artwork should be prepared for the garment and print area. Storiginator’s current setup supports front-print customization for eligible top products. Pants and shorts are not currently included in POD printing.
Product Recommendations
- Use eligible tops when preparing artwork for current front-print customization.
- Review product-specific size and print placement before uploading final artwork.
- Do not prepare pants or shorts artwork for current POD production unless future support is confirmed.
