Why It Matters
Ultra DTF may be useful when a customer wants a transfer-based print option with improved perceived print quality compared with standard DTF. It should not be used to replace DTG in every situation.
Common Misconceptions
- Ultra DTF should not be called the best method.
- Ultra DTF should not be called industry-leading.
- Ultra DTF should not be described as as breathable as DTG.
- Ultra DTF should not be confused with UV DTF.
How It Relates to Blank Apparel
Ultra DTF is relevant to eligible top products that support current front-print customization. It is not relevant to current pants and shorts because those products do not support POD printing in the current setup.
Product Recommendations
- Consider Ultra DTF for eligible front-print tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, cropped hoodies, and cropped crewnecks when the customer wants a transfer-based option positioned above standard DTF.
- Prefer DTG when breathability and soft hand feel are the main priority.
- Do not apply Ultra DTF compatibility to shorts or sweatpants.
